The Secretary for Justice, Mr Wong Yan Lung, SC, will start a five-day visit to the Mainland tomorrow (September 1).
On the first two days, he will attend the 7th Chinese Lawyers' Forum in Yinchuan, Ningxia, and meet with senior officials of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and the Department of Justice.
On September 3 and 4, Mr Wong will visit Beijing, where he will meet senior officials of the Supreme People's Court and the Ministry of Justice, as well as representatives of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission. He will also make courtesy calls on the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council and the Basic Law Committee of the National People's Congress Standing Committee.
He will return to Hong Kong on September 5.
