The delegation of the Panel on Commerce and Industry and Panel on Economic Services left Dubai and arrived in Barcelona on August 23 to continue its 12-day overseas duty visit.
On its first day visit to Barcelona, the delegation met with Mr Jose Campos, Secretary General of The Association of Mediterranean Cruise Ports (Medcruise); Mr Jordi Valls, President, Mr Carlos Domingo, Managing Director, Mrs Carla Salvado, Cruise Manager, and Mr Joan Dedeu, Representation in China of the Port of Barcelona as well as Mr Pier Luigi Foschi, Chairman and CEO, Mr Luis Grau, General Manager, and Mrs Sandra Yunta, Manager of Costa Crociere. The delegation also visited Terminals B and D in the Port of Barcelona to understand the operation of cruise terminal in this place.
The eight-member delegation is led by Hon Vincent Fang Kang. Other members include Hon Jeffrey Lam Kin-fung, deputy delegation leader, Hon Wong Ting-kwong, Hon Timothy Fok Tsun-ting, Hon Andrew Leung Kwan-yuen, Hon James Tien Pei-chun, Hon Howard Young, and Hon Mrs Selina Chow Liang Shuk-yee.
