The Secretary for Food and Health, Dr York Chow, today (August 14) visited Guangdong Guotong Logistics City Company Limited in Foshan. The company's processing and distribution centre for agricultural products supplying Hong Kong and Macau uses enclosed stainless steel containers and pumps liquid oxygen into the containers to keep aquatic products in semi-hibernation state. This can raise the survival rate and maintain the quality of the aquatic products without using drugs.
