Appeal for Type B & O blood

A continued high demand for type B and type O blood has prompted the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service to appeal to people with those groups to donate blood as soon as possible. As well as the regular daily requirement of 700 donations, an extra 50 donors each of type B and O blood groups are needed daily to give blood to ensure an adequate supply.
