Sightings of juvenile sharks in Hoi Ha
**************************************

The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department today (July 23) strongly advised people to stop all water-based activities in Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park following sightings of juvenile sharks in the park again this afternoon.

Two sharks, about three to four feet long, were sighted near the Hoi Ha Wan Marine Life Centre between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.

A department spokesman said people should not swim, dive or do any other water-based activities in the park for the time being, not even in shallow water.

"For their own safety, people in the water in the park will be asked by our patrol staff to leave the water immediately," the spokesman said.
