The following is issued on behalf of The Equestrian Company:
A limited number of tickets for next month¡¦s Good Luck Beijing ¡V HKSAR 10th Anniversary Cup, the equestrian competition featuring both overseas and local riders, will be allocated to the public.
To qualify for tickets, people have to log onto the officially dedicated website of The Equestrian Company (EqCo) www.equestrian2007.org from next Monday (July 16) and answer a simple question about eventing in equestrian sports to have a chance of winning a set of two tickets each. The quiz ends on July 22.
Copies of the entry form with the question in English and Chinese (both traditional and simplified characters) will also be available from EqCo¡¦s office at 37th floor of Bank of China Tower, 1 Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong, during normal office hours from Monday.
A spokesman for EqCo said winners would be informed when to collect their tickets from the Company.
All participants will have to choose which one of the three days of competition ¡V August 11, 12 or 13 ¡V they want to attend. The competition will be held at Sha Tin venue on August 11 and 13, and at Beas River, Sheung Shui, on August 12.
The spokesman said that in order to assure fairness, no employees of the Company, their immediate families or volunteers were eligible to enter the quiz.
