Facilities in Phase II of Hin Tin Swimming Pool will be open to the public tomorrow (July 11), providing an additional place for the public, particularly residents in Sha Tin district, to enjoy the fun of swimming amid the hot summer.
The facilities in Phase II comprise a 10-lane, 50-metre indoor main pool and a 10-metre indoor jacuzzi.
Existing facilities in Phase I of the swimming pool include a training pool, jacuzzi, water slide and leisure pool, which have long been popular in the district.
Located at 68 Che Kung Miu Road, Sha Tin, the facilities in Phase I and Phase II of Hin Tin Swimming Pool will be open daily in three sessions to the public: 6.30am to noon, 1pm to 6.30pm, and 7.30pm to 10pm, except from 10am to 6.30pm every Thursday when the weekly cleaning is conducted.
To allow the public to enjoy the new facilities, the indoor main pool and indoor jacuzzi in Phase II will remain open on Thursday (July 12), the first weekly cleaning day after the opening, while other facilities in Phase I will be closed as usual for the weekly cleaning from 10am to 6.30pm.
