Arts Corner to be launched at Victoria Park

    A new round of the Arts Corner will be launched at Victoria Park on July 2.

     Organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Arts Corner aims to provide more recreational and cultural activities for park goers and foster appreciation of arts in a leisure setting.

     From July 2 to February 24, 2008, from 10am to 6pm on Sundays and public holidays, 40 Arts Corner stalls will be set up at the South Pavilion and South Pavilion Plaza in Victoria Park, displaying and selling recreational, arts and cultural-related souvenirs. Services such as painting and photography will also be offered. Admission is free.

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department organises similar events in three other venues.

     The Arts Fun Fairs in Kowloon Park will run from 1pm to 7pm on Sundays and public holidays until May 25, 2008.

     The Arts Corner at Hong Kong Park will be held at the outdoor area near the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware from noon to 6pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays until December 31.

     An Arts Fun Fair is held in Lai Chi Kok Park (Stage III) which runs from 1pm to 7pm on Sundays and public holidays until September 30.
