The Information Services Department (ISD) today (June 29) announced the winners of the air tickets lucky draw of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region 10th Anniversary E-card Campaign.
The lucky draw was conducted by the Director of Information Services, Mr Edward Yau, and Cathay Pacific Airways Corporate Communication General Manager, Mr Dane Cheng.
The HKSAR 10th Anniversary E-card Campaign is one of the events organised by the government to mark this year's celebrations. More than 20,000 cards have been sent by people since they were put on the anniversary website on May 16.
Recipients of the cards outside Hong Kong were eligible to enter the senders in the lucky draw. More than 900 entries were received from around the world. The 12 winning entries came from as far and wide as South Africa, Canada, the United States, Britain, Australia and the Mainland.
Cathay Pacific Airways sponsored 12 air tickets as prizes for the lucky draw.
The tickets are for return flights between Hong Kong and any destination of the winners' choice with which Cathay Pacific and Dragonair have direct flights.
Winners can use the air tickets themselves or have them transferred to a friend or relative and the flights can be made to or from Hong Kong.
The winners are Lee Wai Chun, Lam Chiu Sau, Lai Yuen Cheung, Lai I Kei, Carol Lee, Ko Kwai Yuk, Tien Chi Hang, Lai Ka Yiu, Lin Mei Fung, Carmen Cheung, Donald Lam and Lee Yuk Wai.
