The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, will leave for Beijing this Sunday (April 8). Premier Wen will present to Mr Tsang the instrument of appointment as the Third Term Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Accompanying Mr Tsang will be the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Mr John Tsang; the Director of Information Services, Mr Edward Yau; the Deputy Private Secretary, Mr Patrick Li; the Senior Special Assistant, Mr Chan Kin-ping; and the Assistant Director (Media), Mr Donald Chen. Mrs Tsang will also accompany Mr Tsang to Beijing.
Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong on April 10. During his absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Rafael Hui, will be the acting Chief Executive.
