Deputy Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Mr John Leung, presents the public consultation paper on proposals to improve the accounting and auditing provisions of the Companies Ordinance (CO). The proposals are part of the CO Rewrite exercise aimed at modernising the company law, as well as enhance Hong Kong's competitiveness and attractiveness as an international business and financial centre.
