Hongkong Post today (March 22) issued the "Children Stamps – Bunny Fun and Games" Special Stamps. This set of special stamps comprises six stamps, depicting paper and pencil games to delight young collectors.
At a ceremony held in the morning at the General Post Office, the Acting Postmaster General, Mr Chan Yau-fung, and the Chairman of Commission on Youth, Dr Philemon Choi, officiated the issue of the special stamps. As a memento of the occasion, Mr Chan presented framed stamps and first day covers to Dr Choi and designer of these special stamps, Mr Michael Fung.
On the same occasion, 2007 "Children Stamps - Paper Folding Fun Design Competition" Award Presentation was held. The competition aimed to nourish youngster's interests in stamps and offered them the opportunity of stretching their imagination through paper folding. More than 1,400 entries were received and 30 award winners were chosen. The list of winners is attached at Appendix (Chinese only).
