The Leisure and Cultural Services Department has announced that the outdoor heated pool at Sham Shui Po Park Swimming Pool has been temporarily closed for cleaning and superchlorination following the discovery of a small amount of faeces in the pool.
As the outdoor heated pool is the only pool open at the Sham Shui Po Park Swimming Pool, the venue is now temporarily closed.
It will reopen at 6pm today.
The department appeals to swimmers to be considerate and to keep our swimming pools clean. They are advised not to swim after a full meal and should use the toilet facilities if necessary before swimming.
