Fiesta enjoyment for children and families

    A series of entertaining programmes specially designed for children and family members will be presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department from March to May.

     Starting from Friday, March 2, the "Family Fiesta" series will bring interesting productions of puppetry, theatre, music and multi-art to widen audiences' horizons.

     From Argentina, there is the magical lighting show ¡§Kaleidoscope¡¨ by Cia.Kukla, as well as crazy clown and circus theatre ¡§Opereta Prima¡¨ by La Pipetua. Another amazing performance is ¡§In the Cube¡¨ by STRIKE¡¦s skilled jugglers from New Zealand.

     For local productions (in Cantonese), Ming Ri Institute for Arts Education will perform table-top puppet show "Hansel and Gretel", telling an adventure story of courage and kindliness. Jumbo Kids Theatre will put on stage their latest production ¡§24¡¨, featuring the relationship between children and parents.

     For music programmes, Dr Yip Wai-hong and Hong Kong Children¡¦s Symphony Orchestra will escort audiences on a musical journey to Beethoven¡¦s world. Hong Kong Music Lover Chinese Orchestra¡¦s ¡§A Concert of Fun for Family¡¨ offers a wide selection of music for kids, parents and even grandparents.
