Hongkong Post announced today (January 18) that in collaboration with China Post, the new Lunar New Year gift sets will be available under the Hong Kong/Mainland Gift Fulfillment Service from January 18 to February 8, 2007.
Hongkong Post and China Post teamed up to create the Hong Kong/Mainland Gift Fulfillment Service in January 2004, providing a convenient service for sending a range of gift sets to the Mainland including seasonal gift sets, bouquets, cakes and flower baskets.
To cater to the public's desire to send their best wishes and gifts to relatives, friends and business partners in Hong Kong and the Mainland during this festive season, six gourmet gift sets filled with different kinds of sweets, snacks, cookies, dried seafood, preserved sausages and tea leaves are now available. The elegant gift sets come in polished packing boxes and are priced from $268 to $888, inclusive of delivery charges.

To facilitate sending gifts with personalised greetings to relatives and trading partners in Guangdong province, two of the gift sets, priced at $688 and $888, are also available in the form of gift vouchers. Customers may choose to buy the gift vouchers, write their greetings and best wishes on them and mail them to their relatives or business counterparts in Guangdong Province. The recipients simply dial a hotline number and arrange for the gift sets to be delivered to any designated address.

Customers can now place orders to send these Lunar New Year gift sets to over 2,000 cities in the Mainland or purchase the gift vouchers for redemption in Guangdong Province. The products will be delivered on or before February 16 for orders which are placed on or before February 8. The completed order forms can be returned in person at any post office, or by fax or post. Customers may also purchase these gift sets via the Hongkong Post Internet shopping mall - "ShopThruPost" (www.shopthrupost.hk).
