Proposed amendment to draft URA Development Scheme Plan

    The Town Planning Board today (January 5) announced a proposed amendment to the draft Urban Renewal Authority Stone Nullah Lane/Hing Wan Street/King Sing Street Development Scheme Plan (DSP).

     The proposed amendment is made to take forward the decision of the Board to partially meet the representations on the draft DSP. It involves the inclusion of ¡¥Flat¡¦ use in Column 2 of the Notes of the ¡§Other Specified Uses¡¨ annotated ¡§Open Space and Historical Buildings Preserved for Cultural, Community and Commercial Uses¡¨ zone.

     The proposed amendment is now available for public inspection during normal office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Hong Kong District Planning Office, and the Public Enquiry Service Centre of the Wan Chai District Office.

     Any person, other than that who has made any representation or comment on the draft DSP after the consideration of which the amendment is proposed, may make further representation in respect of the proposed amendment. A further representation should be made in writing to the Secretary of the Board on or before January 26, 2007.

     Copies of the draft DSP together with the proposed amendment to its Notes are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the plan and the proposed amendment can be seen on the Board's website (http://www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
