Land resumption for drainage improvement works in Tai Po

    The Lands Department will resume 107 private agricultural lots with a total area of about 17,811 square metres in Kau Lung Hang, Yuen Leng, Nam Wa Po and Tai Hang areas in Tai Po to facilitate drainage improvement works to alleviate the flooding problem there.

     A notice for the land resumption was published in the Gazette today (December 8).

     The project is scheduled to start in April 2007 and will take about 44 months to complete.
