SHA congratulates Wong Kam-po on winning first gold medal in Doha Asian Games for HK

   The Secretary for Home Affairs, Dr Patrick Ho, on behalf of the people of Hong Kong tonight (December 3), extended his congratulations to the cyclist Wong Kam-po on winning the first gold medal in the Doha Asian Games for Hong Kong in Men's Individual Road Race.

Dr Ho said: "Although the Doha Asian Games are only beginning, the Hong Kong delegation has already won medals in table-tennis and weightlifting events. It is very exciting that the Hong Kong team has now won a gold medal in cycling."

He hoped that other members of the Hong Kong delegation could keep up with the good work and achieve even better results for Hong Kong in the Games.
