The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, will lead a delegation of government officials and local business leaders on a study tour to Guizhou on November 21 to promote economic and trade co-operation between Hong Kong and the Pan-Pearl River Delta (Pan-PRD) region.

The Guizhou delegation is being organised by the Constitutional Affairs Bureau and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Government officials accompanying Mr Tsang on the visit include the Secretary for Commerce, Industry and Technology, Mr Joseph Wong; the Secretary for Economic Development and Labour, Mr Stephen Ip; the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Mr John Tsang; and the Permanent Secretary for Constitutional Affairs, Mrs Cherry Tse.

Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong on November 23. During the Chief Executive's absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Rafael Hui, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
