Renovation work on Yuen Long Public Library was being implemented in phases from now until May, 2007, to provide better library facilities and services, a spokesman for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (October 11).
The library facilities and environment will be further improved and a new Computer and Information Centre will be provided.
During the renovation, the provision of the Lending Services as well as the Newspapers and Periodicals Services will continue, while some library services (including the Studentˇ¦s Study Room) are being suspended. Readers may use library services at Tin Shui Wai Public Library of the district.
