New Islands District Officer (with photo)

   Mr Byron Lam will take up the post of Islands District Officer tomorrow (October 3), succeeding Mr Owin Fung.
   
    Mr Lam joined the Administrative Service of the Government in 1991. He has served in various government posts, including the Trade and Industry Branch; the Home Affairs Branch; the Transport Branch; the Sha Tin District Office; the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau; and the Education and Manpower Bureau.

    Mr Lam's last posting was a Principal Assistant Secretary (Manpower Planning and Training) for Education and Manpower.
