The Government today (September 1) announced the re-appointment of Mr Irving Koo Yee-yin as Chairman and Dr Magdalena Mok Mo-ching as member of the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA). Meanwhile, four new members were also appointed to the HKEAA. The appointment details are as follows:
From September 1, 2006 to August 31, 2009:
Mr Irving Koo Yee-yin, SBS, JP
From September 1, 2006 to August 31, 2008:
Mr Hui Chin-yim, MH
Ms Shek Yuk-yu
Ms Ng Ka-yee
Mr Ng Hak-kim, JP
From September 1, 2006 to August 31, 2007:
Dr Magdalena Mok Mo-ching
The Secretary for Education and Manpower, Professor Arthur K C Li, said that the appointees' rich experience in the educational or other professional fields would help steer the future development of HKEAA.
He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing members, including Mr Cheung Pak-hong, BBS, Mr Chan Wing-kwong, MH, Mr Kwok Wing-keung and Mrs Jackie Ma-Lai Bik-lin for their contribution in the past years.
