People are being invited to submit applications for about 800 standard niches in the Columbarium of Cape Collinson Crematorium of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) from next Monday (August 28).
The 800 standard niches are the remaining stock of some 2,000 newly built niches in the Columbarium which were open for application last month.
The charge for each standard niche is $2,800 and $90 for placing of a memorial plaque.

Application forms are available at the FEHD's Cemeteries and Crematoria Offices on Hong Kong Island and in Kowloon. They can also be obtained through fax or downloaded from the department's website (www.fehd.gov.hk).

Applicants can submit the completed application forms, together with the required documents, in person or through an authorised agent to the Cemeteries and Crematoria Office on Hong Kong Island during office hours starting August 28.

The daily quota for allocation is 30. Applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis. Successful applicants will be informed of an appointed date for completion of the application procedures with allocation of niches made.¡@¡@
