Following is the transcript (English portion) of the remarks on the attack of the Hon Albert Ho made to the media by the Secretary for Security, Mr Ambrose SK Lee, at Central Government Offices Main Wing this morning (August 21):
Secretary for Security: The Hong Kong Government is concerned about the attack on the Hon Albert Ho yesterday. Hong Kong is a free and open community. We cherish our freedom, especially the freedom of speech and the freedom of expression. We do not tolerate any violent act committed by any person. The Hong Kong Police have set up a hotline. We appeal to the public, especially those who were present at the scene to contact the Police through the Police hotline.
