Secretary for Security meets Australian Attorney-General (with photo)

    The Secretary for Security, Mr Ambrose SK Lee, started his week-long visit in Australia by meeting the Australian Attorney-General, Mr Philip Ruddock, in Canberra this afternoon (August 8, Canberra time).

     At the meeting, they exchanged views on law and order issues that were of common interest to Hong Kong and Australia.

     Mr Lee noted the good cooperation between law enforcement agencies of both places and hoped this could be further strengthened in the years ahead.

     Mr Lee will continue with his visit in Canberra tomorrow before flying to Sydney on August 10.
