Three more e-channels were activated at the departure hall of China Ferry Terminal control point today (July 28), bringing the total number of e-channels available there to 18.
On the departure level, the channels will be open to the public from 6.30am to 9pm on weekdays and from 6.30am to midnight on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. On the arrival level, the channels will be open from 7am to 10pm on weekdays and from 7am to 2am on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Hong Kong permanent residents and holders of Documents of Identity for Visa Purposes (aged 11 or above), who also hold smart identity cards may use the e-channels to perform self-service clearance.
