Following is a transcript of remarks (English portion) by the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Mr Frederick Ma, to the media before attending the Association of Hong Kong Professionals Luncheon today (July 26):
Reporter: About the Ocean Grand incident, do you think it will affect investors' confidence in Hong Kong?
Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury: Hong Kong has a very good regulatory regime, and the government and the regulatory bodies are very, very concerned about protection of investors' interests. I don't think one incident as such would affect investors' confidence in Hong Kong's financial market.
