The Planning Department will implement a five-day week starting July 1.
The departmentˇ¦s two Planning Enquiry Counters will be closed on Saturdays and their service hours will be extended on weekdays.
The new opening hours will be as follows:
Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30pm
Friday 9am to 6pm
The enquiry counters are located at 17/F, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, and at 14/F, Sha Tin Government Offices, 1 Sheung Wo Che Road, Sha Tin.
Public enquiries can also be made through email (enquire@pland.gov.hk) or by fax (2877 0389).
The counter for Town Planning Board Secretariat to receive planning applications will also switch to a five-day week from July 1.
It is located at 15/F, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point. Its new opening hours will be as follows:
Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30pm
Friday 9am to 6pm
Planning applications can also be sent to the Town Planning Board by post.
