Police today (June 14) appealed to the members of the public for information on a dead body found in Lantau Island on June 10.
At about 10:45 am on June 10, Marine Police found a dead body floating at the sea off Hong Kong Disneyland new reclamation area. It was later confirmed to be a female.
The deceased, aged unknown, stood about 1.6 metres and was of medium build. No identity document could be found at scene.
The body was badly decomposed when discovered. She was wearing a pink T-shirt with cartoon pattern on the front, a black skirt and a ring on the right middle finger.
Police urge anyone who knows the identity of the deceased to contact investigating officers of Patrol Sub-unit of Marine Harbour Division at 2886 8743.
