SJ to visit London

    The Secretary for Justice, Mr Wong Yan Lung, SC, will leave for London for a five-day visit on Monday (June 5).

     During his visit, Mr Wong will call on the Attorney-General for England and Wales, Lord Goldsmith, QC; the Secretary of State for Constitutional Affairs, Rt Hon Lord Falconer of Thoroton; the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Mr Mike Gapes; the former Deputy Prime Minister, Lord Howe; and the Chinese Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Mr Zha Peixin.
 
     Mr Wong will also meet the President of the Law Society, Mr Kevin Martin; the Chairman of the Bar Council, Mr Stephen Hockman, QC; the Chairman of the Law Commission, Sir Roger Toulson, and members of the Hong Kong Association Committee and the Chatham House.
