| The Financial Secretary, Mr Henry Tang, continues his Australasian visit today (May 30) in Sydney. One of the important missions of Mr Tang's visit is to promote Hong Kong tourism in Australia, which is an important source of tourist arrivals in Hong Kong. Last year, over half a million visitors from Australia visited Hong Kong, representing a strong growth of nearly 30% year-on-year. Mr Tang today attended the Hong Kong Tourism Board to launch the 2006 Hong Kong Shopping Festival and Cultural/Heritage Festivals.
