Land resumption for drainage improvement works in Fanling

    The Lands Department will resume 18 private agricultural lots with a total area of about 4,119 square metres in the area from Tung Kok Wai to San Wai, Fanling, to facilitate drainage improvement works to alleviate the flooding problem there.

     A notice for the land resumption was published in the Gazette today (March 31).

     The project is scheduled to begin in April, 2006, and will take about two years to complete.
