Ping Shek Public Transport Interchange opens tomorrow (with photos)

    The ground floor of Ping Shek Public Transport Interchange (PTI) comprising a franchised-bus terminus, bus stop and a taxi stand opens tomorrow (March 18) at 10am.

     The Transport Department said the interchange would deliver the following services:

* Public transport services

1. Bus Routes
* Two terminating bus routes including KMB route 9 and cross-harbour bus route 111
* 19 en-route bus routes including KMB routes 3M, 3P, 10, 21, 26, 26M, 27, 29M, 42, 91, 91M, 92, 95, 96R, 292P, 606, 606P, N216 and Citybus route N26.

3. MTR services

     MTR passengers may use Choi Hung MTR Station Exit A3 to go to Ping Shek PTI to interchange with other public transport services via escalators and lifts.

* Traffic arrangements

1. The one-way ramp has been opened for use as a temporary uphill lane for Sai Kung-bound vehicles during carriageway reconstruction works and for access to the park and ride car park, while the two-way ramp is used for vehicles going to and from Sai Kung.

2. Vehicles leaving the first floor podium must use the down ramp connecting to the Sai Kung-bound carriageway of Clear Water Bay Road. Those travelling to Kowloon should continue straight ahead to New Clear Water Bay Road, turn left at the junction of Fung Shing Street and rejoin the downhill section of Clear Water Bay Road.
