The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (March 14) that the main pool of Lai Chi Kok Park Swimming Pool has been temporarily closed for cleaning and superchlorination following the discovery of a small amount of vomitus in the pool.
The main pool is the only pool in Lai Chi Kok Swimming Pool which is open according to the winter schedule.
The pool will reopen at 7am tomorrow (March 15).
The Department appeals to swimmers that they should be considerate and work together to keep the swimming pools clean and hygienic. They are advised not to swim after a full meal and should use the toilet facilities if necessary before swimming.
