'Something About Jazz' Concert at Kwai Tsing Theatre for Christmas

    The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will present an open-air Christmas concert ¡§Something About Jazz¡¨ on Friday (December 23).

     The concert will be held at the outdoor plaza of Kwai Tsing Theatre from 7.30pm to 9.30pm and admission is free.

     Members of the Real Music Association will give a music performance with a repertoire including ¡§The Girl From Ipanema¡¨, ¡§Billie¡¦s Bounce¡¨, ¡§Fly Me To The Moon¡¨, ¡§Take The ¡§A¡¨ Train¡¨, ¡§Spain¡¨ and ¡§Dream A Little Dream Of Me¡¨.

     They will also play popular pieces from Classical music, Broadway songs, Western and Canton pop songs, music from animation films and Christmas carols in their own special jazz music arrangement.

     Real Music Association was established in June, 2002, by a group of talented local young musicians who were graduates of reputed overseas and local music institutions and shared a vision of promoting jazz music in the local community. The group has been performed widely in the performing venues of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, local tertiary institutions, Hong Kong Arts Centre and shopping malls.
