The Labour Department will stage a recruitment forum at Tin Shui Wai on Wednesday (November 30), providing 890 vacancies from different industries.
Thirteen companies from the retail, catering, property management, telecommunications, business services, trading and logistics sectors will participate in the event. They will offer a total of 709 job vacancies.
The vacancies cover positions such as shop manager, customer service manager, network engineer, telephone system technician, sales representative, salesperson, cashier, waiter, store assistant, motorcycle courier driver and security guard.
Most of the jobs offer a monthly salary ranging from $5,000 to $10,000. Eighty per cent of the vacancies are open to job-seekers without relevant work experience. Job-seekers can submit applications on the spot and may be selected for on-site interviews.
Another 180 job vacancies that are registered with the Labour Department will be posted at the site for application. The Labour Department will conduct on-the-spot job registration as well.
The recruitment forum will be held from 11am to 6pm on ground floor, Cine Valley, Kingswood Ginza, Tin Shui Wai, New Territories. Admission is free.
