The following press release is issued on behalf of the Air Transport Licensing Authority:
The Air Transport Licensing Authority (ATLA) will hold an inquiry on Saturday (November 19) at 9.15am to consider an application by Hong Kong Express Airways Limited to operate scheduled air services on the following routes –
a) Hong Kong/ Dalian/ Guilin/ Jinan/ Kunming/ Nanning/ Qingdao/ Shenyang/ Shijiazhuang/ Tianjin/ Xian/ Yantai/ Lijiang/ Huangshan(Tunxi)/ Zhangjiajie/ Jinjiang/ Wuxi and vice versa;
b) Hong Kong/ Tai Chung (Ching Chuan Kang)/ Okinawa and vice versa;
c) Hong Kong/ Siem Reap/ Koh Samui and vice versa.
Joining the Chairman of ATLA, Mr Ronny FH Wong, SC, JP, for the inquiry will be Members Mr Albert Cheung Chung-hoi, Mrs Fanny Lai Ip Po-ping, JP, Professor Japhet Sebastian Law and Mr Ma Ho-fai, JP.
The inquiry will take place at Court No 2, 3/F, High Court, Queensway and is open to the public.
