Land resumption for drainage works in Shui Lau Hang

The Lands Department will resume 18 private agricultural lots with a total area of about 5,710 square metres in Shui Lau Hang, Ta Kwu Ling, to facilitate the construction of a drainage channel and associated maintenance facilities to alleviate the flooding problem in the area.
A Notice for the land resumption was published in the Gazette today (November 4).
The project is scheduled to begin in December, 2005, and will take about 26 months to complete.
