Woman charged with concealing birth of child

Police today (October 23) charged a 25-year-old Indonesian woman with concealing the birth of a child.
The woman had earlier been arrested in connection with the death of a newborn baby boy who was found inside a refuse collection room in Lai Kok Estate, Sham Shui Po and later certified dead at hospital on October 21.
The woman will appear in Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (October 24).
