Police today (October 21) appealed for information on a traffic accident in which a 74-year-old man was killed in North Point on October 16.
Shortly before 8.25 am on October 16, a light goods vehicle driven by a 40-year-old man was travelling along westbound Tsat Tsz Mui Road. Upon reaching near Healthy Street East, it reportedly knocked down a 74-year-old man who suddenly walked across the road.
Sustaining serious injuries, the man was rushed to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital where he was certified dead at 7.33 am on October 19.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic Hong Kong Island are proceeding.
