The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department today (October 14) lifted the closure order imposed earlier on King Fok Palace Korean and Japanese Restaurant at Hong Ning Road, Kwun Tong.
"The food premises was closed on September 20, following reports of a cluster of food poisoning cases. It has taken remedial measures after the closure, including thorough cleaning and disinfection of the premises and improvements in workflow procedures," a department spokesman said.
"During our latest inspection of the food premises, we were satisfied that the immediate health hazards on the premises had been eliminated.
"We have also reminded its operators and staff members to observe good personal, environmental and food hygiene at all times.
"The Director of Food and Environmental Hygiene has decided to rescind the closure order and allow the food premises to resume operation with immediate effect," the spokesman said.
