Appointments/re-appointments to Consumer Goods Safety Appeal
Board Panel
************************************************************ The Government announced today (October 14) that the Secretary for Economic Development and Labour has re-appointed 14 members and appointed three new members to the Appeal Board Panel under the Consumer Goods Safety Ordinance. The members will serve for a period of two years, from next Thursday (October 20).
The membership list is as follows:

The Appeal Board is responsible for hearing appeals against enforcement decisions or actions taken by the Commissioner of Customs and Excise under the Consumer Goods Safety Ordinance. When convened, the board will consist of the Chairman or Deputy Chairman of the Appeal Board panel, who will be the Chairman of the Board, and one member each from the other categories of the panel.
