Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (October 13) that the Golden Beach in Tuen Mun District was reopened with normal lifeguard service.
The reopening followed the advice by the Environmental Protection Department that the water quality of the beach is now suitable for swimming.
The Golden Beach was temporarily closed on October 10 in view of the sighting of oil spill.
