Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 59-year-old man was killed in Yuen Long this morning (October 13).
Shortly after 7.25 am, a public light bus driven by a 36-year-old woman was travelling along San Tam Road towards Yuen Long. Upon reaching near Sha Po Tsuen, it reportedly knocked down a 59-year-old cyclist who was riding from the village to the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to North District Hospital where he was certified dead at about 8.32 am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, New Territories North, are proceeding.
