Policy Address available to public on Wednesday

    Copies of the 2005-06 Policy Address and other related publications will be widely distributed to the public after the Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, delivers his speech in the Legislative Council on Wednesday (October 12).

     The full text of all the publications will also be released on the Policy Address webpage (www.policyaddress.gov.hk).

     Copies of the Policy Address will be available while stocks last from about 12.40pm to 7pm at 20 Public Enquiry Service Centres of the Home Affairs Department, and a counter set up by the Information Services Department on Ground Floor, Murray Building, Central.

     Copies of a leaflet containing the highlights of the Policy Address will be distributed at a number of public places at the same time while stocks last. The leaflet will also be distributed to tertiary institutions and secondary schools from Thursday (October 13).

     The outlets for the distribution of the leaflet on Wednesday are listed below:

* 20 Public Enquiry Service Centres in 18 districts;

* Counter set up by the Information Services Department, Ground Floor, Murray Building, Garden Road, Central;

* Five East Rail stations of the Kowloon-Canton Railway in Hung Hom, Kowloon Tong, Sha Tin, Tai Po Market and Sheung Shui;

* Three West Rail stations of the Kowloon-Canton Railway in Nam Cheong, Tin Shui Wai and Tuen Mun;

* Ground Plaza of HSBC Main Building, 1 Queen's Road Central, Central;

* Times Square, Causeway Bay;

* Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui; and
