Commonwealth of Dominica extends visa-free period for HKSAR

    The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) announced today (September 27) that confirmation had been received from the Embassy of the Commonwealth of Dominica in Beijing that the period of visa-free entry for HKSAR passport holders to visit the Commonwealth of Dominica would be extended from 21 days to 90 days with immediate effect.

     "We warmly welcome the extension of the visa-free period and believe it will further help promote economic, cultural and tourism links between Hong Kong and the Commonwealth of Dominica," the spokesman said.

     Dominican Prime Minister Mr Roosevelt Skerrit is now visiting Hong Kong and paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive today. Currently, nationals of the Commonwealth of Dominica can visit Hong Kong visa-free for a stay up to 90 days.
