MPFA recovers MPF non-payment for nine employees

The District Court yesterday (September 8) issued a judgment against an employer. The defendant, Super Bond Engineering & Enterprise Limited, was ordered to pay the MPFA the sum of $181,507.19, being mandatory contributions in arrears and surcharges payable to nine employees of the defendant.
The amount awarded will be reimbursed to the employees' MPF accounts as soon as it is received by the MPFA. The court further ordered the defendant to pay $930 to the MPFA as the cost of the claim.
