Renovation works for the Children's Library at North Kwai Chung Public Library at Shek Yam Road, Kwai Chung, will begin next Tuesday (September 13) to provide better library services and environment for readers.
The renovation project would be completed by the end of December, a spokesman for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department said today (September 6).
The Children's Library on 3/F will be closed during the renovation. Readers may use the temporary Children's Library on 2/F or visit the Children's Library at South Kwai Chung Library in the same district.
Services for other facilities of North Kwai Chung Public Library including the Adult Lending Library, Quick Reference Section, Newspaper and Periodicals Section on 2/F and Computer Information Centre, Extension Activities Room and Students' Study Room on 3/F remain as normal.
