Mr William Yuen will take over the post of Wan Chai District Officer tomorrow (September 1), succeeding Miss Pauline Wong.
Mr Yuen joined the Government in 1970 and became a member of the Executive Service the following year.
He has served in various branches and bureaux including the Government Secretariat, the City and New Territories Administration, the Census and Statistics Department, the Finance Branch, the Civil Service Branch, the Works Branch, the Works Bureau and the Marine Department.
His last posting was the Assistant Secretary General of the Joint Secretariat for the Advisory Bodies on Civil Service and Judicial Salaries and Conditions of Service.
