Police today (August 26) appealed to members of the public to provide information on the whereabouts of a boy and a girl who were reported missing.
Missing boy Law Kai-tung, aged 16, was an inmate of a hostel in Sham Shui Po. He was last seen leaving the hostel on February 5 and was reported missing by the staff on Feburary 27.
Standing about 1.6 metres and weighing about 50 kg, he is of thin build. He has a pointed chin, short and straight black hair with yellow complexion. He likes to visit cyber cafes in Mong Kok and Tseung Kwan O.
In another case, missing girl Lai Shuk-ching, aged 15, was last seen at her home in Tin Wan Estate in Aberdeen on August 3 and reported missing by her mother on the following day.
She stands about 1.5 metres and weighs about 59 kg and is of normal build. She has a pointed face, long straight black hair with yellow complexion. She was wearing an overcoat and pants when missing. She likes to visit Tuen Mun and Causeway Bay.
Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the above missing persons to contact the investigating officers of the Regional Missing Persons Unit of Hong Kong Island on 2860 1040 or 2860 1045.
